A goal from Oywek James (Rooney) and his younger brother sent Super Giant Eagles to the last four of the New Year's tournament after beating Golden Stars 2 - 0 at Iwire Football Ground on Friday 30.

The Eagle Claws continued to show zeal and enthusiasm despite producing draws in their first two opening fixtures against The King and Old Stars. The Orange boys will now wait to face a team which will make it through in today's fixture.

In the absence of their two key players, Oyet Juma (c) and Opiyo Jimmy, young lads' talents continue to flare, an indication that it only takes team spirit to produce good results. It also portrays that the club can perform in the absence of certain individuals, this is pretty important for the survival of the club.

As a new manager, this performance is also a motivating factor to Alex Owinyi after recently taking over the challenging job from Lobwota Richard who was granted promotion as the general manager of Abara Football Club.
